Woollahra Council has partnered with the Paddington business community to celebrate WorldPride 2023 at Five Ways.

The streets surrounding this iconic location’s restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and businesses have been decorated with 45 rainbow hearts, representing every year of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, which began in 1978.

We invite you to find each and every heart during your visit, and reflect on Paddington’s proud association with the Australian LGBTQIA+ community.

Acknowledgement of country

Sydney WorldPride will take place on the lands of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidjigal, Darug, Dharawal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Sydney Basin.

We pay our Respects to their Elders past and present. Always was Always will be Aboriginal Land.
