Garden Reflexxx in association with Sydney WorldPride present SWARM: a film festival inspired by Black, radical cinema, premiering at Skyline Drive-In on February 23rd 2023.

SWARM foregrounds the radical and desperately creative strategies of experi-personal filmmaking. Across multiple films that throw into relief our future and freedom, SWARM is a once-in-a-lifetime-immaculate-corpse-of-throat-grabbing-films screening at Skyline Drive-In (Blacktown). From the glamourous secrets of the girls outside the clock, by way of public sex culture, and through cinematic inventiveness of alternative identities, this film festival sets asunder what needs to be built versus what should be destroyed. Grating against scarcity with a lineup abundant in experiments, SWARM gestures towards a redemptive future built out of harrowing experiences. SWARM invites you to gather under the stars and crack out of history. This is a night not to be missed.

Starring Ahya Simone, E Fishpool & Sam Miers, Gbenga Komolafe & Tee Jaehyung Park, Tracey Moffatt, and more to be announced.

SWARM acknowledges the Darug tribe as the traditional custodians of Blacktown City. Always was, always will be.

A film still of two black women looking into each others eyes, standing close to each other at night
