Artemis is an LGBT rights and social activist, and Founder and Director of ALO (Afghan LGBT Organisation). ALO advocate for LGBT rights in Afghanistan and also LGBT refugee rights in Turkey. Artemis is also the chief editor of Radio Ranginkaman – the first and only media and radio station that produces programs for Afghan and Iranian LGBT+ people. Recently, Artemis has conducted research on LGBT+ migrants from Afghanistan and Iran in Turkey and the EU.
