Dipa Yasmin Mahbuba (she/her)

Dipa Mahbuba Yasmin has over 10 years of experience working with marginalized communities in Bangladesh. Yasmin is the Founder & Board of Trustees of ANOAQA- Asian Network of A-Spec Queer Activists and Co-Founder Bangladeshi Asexual Association. She takes a deep interest in the intersectionality of identity politics and social justice. Yasmin received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. Currently, she works as a queer filmmaker, and curator focused on South Asia.  

Yasmin has been awarded a research & development grant by British Council for contributing to contemporary art and being the pioneer of the gender art movement in Bangladesh.
