“Out of the bars, and into the streets!”
We’re coming home! Our world-renowned Parade returns to Oxford Street in celebration of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras’ 45th anniversary. This dazzling display of LGBTQIA+ excellence showcases the beauty and strength in pride and self-expression as we continue the fight for equality.
As the biggest event of the Sydney WorldPride festival, all eyes will be on our 12,500 marchers as 200+ floats adorn Oxford Street for the first time since 2020. Expect all your Parade favourites, from the famous rumble of the Dykes on Bikes to the quintessentially Australian Lifesavers With Pride, and the many wonders of our LGBTQIA+ communities.
Watch this year’s theme Gather, Dream, Amplify come to life – whether from the free viewing areas on the street or our premium viewing spaces – as bigger floats, lighting and firework shows elevate the spectacle that is Parade along the entire revamped route from Hyde Park to Moore Park.
Download the Mardi Gras Parade Map to view details on the route, access to public transport, Viewing Area locations, food trucks and more.
