Kick off Sydney WorldPride in true Mardi Gras style – Fair Day! Roll up with your dog, your Nan and your neighbour as the Mardi Gras festivities begin at our all-day rainbow extravaganza in Victoria Park.

No matter which letters of the LGBTQIA+ community you represent, there is something for everyone at Fair Day. Taking you from day to night, this is one of the community’s most-loved events bringing over 200 retail, information and food stalls, sample giveaways and family-friendly picnic areas, with entertainment featuring Carla Wehbe, Mama de Leche, Penelope Pettigrew and The Buoys. The revered Doggywood pageant has had a glam makeover, plus you’ll experience music and live performances across multiple stages and dancefloors – as well as plenty of bars and food options.

Don’t miss our mini Vogue Ball to leave you buzzing in anticipation of the Festival ahead.

Plan your Fair Day experience

By entering Victoria Park you agree to the Conditions of Entry outlined here.

Staying sun safe and hydrated

The forecast for Fair Day is a sunny summer day. It’s important to stay sun safe and keep hydrated. With free water stations located throughout the park, we recommend you pack your sunscreen and brush up on NSW Health’s advice on heat safety.

Getting to Mardi Gras Fair Day

Plan ahead to make sure your journey to and from Mardi Gras Fair Day is as fab as possible. The closest train stations are Central and Redfern, with buses operating all day long. Remember, there’s no parking on site. If you have to drive the closest parking available is at Broadway Shopping Centre. Plan your trip here.

First Nations Circle

Highlighting the importance of safe, celebratory spaces for LGBTQIA+SB First Nations communities, the First Nations Circle serves as  a powerful reminder for all of us that Sydney WorldPride is held on unceded Aboriginal land.  It will be a meeting place, a space for conversation, learning, celebration and culture open to both mob and the wider community; including  a community tent, an elder’s tent, LGBTQIA+SB First Nations performance, businesses and more.

All ages welcome.

Doggywood Parade and Pageant
