Thu Feb 23 @ 7:00 pm - 8:40 pm
The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir and Sydney WorldPride are delighted to present the Out & Loud & Proud festival Gala Concert, the grand finale of the five-day international LGBTIQA+ choral festival. The festival brings together 500 singers from around Australia and the world to participate in rehearsals, workshops, performances and events to celebrate a shared passion for fine choral music and a commitment to community.
The concert, taking place in the historic splendour of the Sydney Town Hall, features performances by participating choirs from around the world including the Individual Voices Choir comprising singers who are attending without their own choir. The massed-choir of 500 voices perform a number of pieces including a newly commissioned Acknowledgment of Country by Yuwaalaraay composer Nardi Simpson and a festival anthem by Wiradjuri lyricist Jazz Money and composer Joseph Twist.
The concert also features some very special guests. Prepare for an uplifting evening of musical celebration and the awesome power of massed choral singing.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. An AUSLAN interpreter will participate in the event.
