There’s no better place to celebrate Sydney WorldPride than trackside at what will be Australia’s greatest roller derby event for 2023, hosted by Sydney’s Inner West Roller Derby League. See all the thrills and spills of this most inclusive and must-see highly athletic sport, along with a quality showcase of queer performances in a side-show style extravaganza for one night only at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park.
You will be treated to two competitive games of roller derby, comprised of skaters from around the country and the world! Including skaters who represent Team Indigenous Roller Derby.
Game one will see Sydney’s Inner West Roller Derby League’s best skaters matching up against Team NSW.
Game two, the main event, will see Team Australia take on the talented Team World, bringing the best roller derby athletes together in one heart stopping game!
An exciting array of queer performers in side-show circus acts will be sure to entice and amaze you between games and at half time!
Get your Roller Derby Extravaganza and Inner West Roller Derby League team merchandise at our trade hall stalls. You will also find a great selection of retail from our community Pride partners as well as gender affirming products for sale.

Accessible spectating/seating will be trackside with lift access to 18+ bar and additional viewing area.
All ages (5+) general admission seating. 18+ licensed area with seating. The Big Top Ground Floor Foyer Bar serves a range of savoury snacks, soft drinks and confectionery. Upstairs bar will also have available beer, wine, spirits and mixed drinks subject to age restrictions. A variety of hot food is available at all shows including meat and vegetarian options. PASS-OUTS: There are no pass outs once you are inside the venue - if you leave the event you will not be allowed re-entry. PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY: Professional SLR Camera, Video Cameras and Audio Recording Devices are not permitted at any event, nor are they permitted in the venue. All prohibited items will be forced cloaked by security for the duration of the event. For professional photography services – please contact the promotor directly. BAGS: Bags must be smaller than 15cm by 20cm. This means, the Big Top Sydney is a ‘Backpack Free’ venue for all General Admission events! CLOAKROOM: Big Top Sydney offer cloakroom services for $3.00 to safely store your goods whilst attending an event. It’s important to follow the venues bag restrictions, and be aware of prohibited items so that you are only making use of the cloakroom for the right kind of goodies! Access fees may apply.
