Since 1983, Sydney Frontrunners has provided a safe place for the LGBTQIA+ community and their friends to exercise and socialise together, as one of over 100 Frontrunners organisations spanning the world.

To celebrate the Sydney Frontrunners 40th birthday, visitors are invited to join them in Centennial Park. You can walk or run 5km, or run 10km. With prizes for the fastest walkers and runners, and also for most fabulous outfits for adults, children and dogs.

After you finish, you can compete in our fabulous handbag throwing competition!

8.00am: 5km walk and 5km run

Accessible toilets about 200m from the start.

* Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

Acknowledgement of country

Sydney WorldPride will take place on the lands of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidjigal, Darug, Dharawal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Sydney Basin.

We pay our Respects to their Elders past and present. Always was Always will be Aboriginal Land.

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people come from many different clans and communities across Australia & in 2023 will come together as one, to celebrate with our global LGBTQIA+ community.
