Fabrizio Petri is an Italian senior diplomat, Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTIQ+ persons of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, since Nov. 2021.
Since 2016, he is the President of the Inter-ministerial Committee for Human Rights. He is also co-founder of the Association of LGBTIQ+ employees of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Globe-MAE).
