Powerhouse Late: WorldPride

Powerhouse Late: WorldPride is a series of free after-hours events featuring live music, film screenings, workshops, talks and exhibition tours celebrating Sydney’s most inspiring queer creatives every Giovedì night during WorldPride.

Featuring three unique programs coinciding with the opening of the Absolutely Queer exhibition, these events shine a spotlight on artists from the exhibition and their creative process as well as some of Sydney’s most important LGBTQIA+ community members including performance artists, designers, musicians, DJs, makers and more.

Powerhouse Late: Absolutely Queer Launch
The official opening of the Absolutely Queer exhibition, this Powerhouse Late is a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ artists in the exhibition and their communities. Featuring performances curated by Justin Shoulder as well as music by DJ Charlie Villas and more. Click here to learn more.

Powerhouse Late: Queerbourhood
A night championing Sydney’s diverse and vibrant LGBTQIA+ music communities, Powerhouse Late: Queerbourhood features live music and performances curated by Jonny Seymour and Paul Mac who have been supporting Sydney’s emerging queer artists for decades. Taking over the iconic Powerhouse Transport Hall, the night will feature music from iconic Sydney queer musicians. Click here to learn more.

Powerhouse Late: Werkshop
A deep dive into the stories of the artists featured in the Absolutely Queer exhibition and their creative processes. Powerhouse Late: Werkshop presents talks, tours and workshops with some of Sydney’s most iconic LGBTQIA+ artists. Tour the exhibition with the artists, jump into a jewellery workshop or participate in a makeup demo with drag artist. Click here to learn more.
