There is a dedicated ticket allocation for the MobTix program with applications open until Friday 16 December 2022. Approved applicants have until Friday 13 January 2023 to purchase tickets (or until 22 February 2023 for Marri Madung Butbut productions), or until sold out.

Sydney WorldPride is committed to working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities from Australia to celebrate and elevate First Nations LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy culture.

To create opportunities and accessibility for Aboriginal + Torres Strait Islander communities to attend Sydney WorldPride events and increase their participation in the festival, Sydney WorldPride has created the MobTix program – a special allocation of tickets that allows Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to purchase tickets to five major events for $49* and to Marri Madung Butbut (Many Brave Hearts): The First Nations Gathering Space events for $20+bf.

MobTix will be available for the following events:  

  • Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert, Presented by American Express
  • Rainbow Republic, Presented by Optus 
  • Blak & Deadly: The First Nations Gala Concert 
  • Sydney WorldPride Human Rights Conference 
  • Bondi Beach Party, Presented by Optus 
  • Marri Madung Butbut (Many Brave Hearts): The First Nations Gathering Space events

Who is eligible for MobTix? 

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from Australia are eligible to the MobTix program, allowing them to purchase up to four tickets for each event in the MobTix program. 

How do I access MobTix? 

Step One: Sign up to the program  

Complete the form below to self-identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, you will be able to self-identify as such. 

Step Two: Review by Sydney WorldPride 

Your registration will be reviewed by the SWP First Nations Team.  Once review is complete, you will receive email instructions on how to purchase your ticket/s to each of the eligible events. 

Step Three: Buy your tickets! 

You will be able to purchase your ticket/s to each of the eligible events as soon as they go on sale on July 15, 2022.   

When purchasing tickets, you must use the same email address that you used to sign up. 

Sydney WorldPride has made available a generous number of these tickets, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  

Keep in mind 

Once the allocation has been exhausted, no further MobTix will be available. Get in early! 

Our ticketing providers, Moshtix and Ticketmaster, work with LatitudePay and Afterpay to allow for deferred payments for ticket buyers. This may assist you further when managing your ticket purchases. 

The MobTix program covers only the price of the ticket itself.  Other charges may apply. 

* plus booking fees, ticket price per day for the Human Rights Conference .
