Dr. Kimahli Powell L.L.D (Hons) 

 Kimahli has a wide range of experience in the not-for-profit sector and has spent more than 20 years advocating for social justice, youth, and arts and culture.

Since joining Rainbow Railroad as CEO, Kimahli has led the organization through transformational growth. Kimahli holds a Doctor of Laws from the University of Victoria and was listed in Out Magazine’s Out 100 profile of influential LGBT people in 2018.

Kimahli is a regular contributor to international media with appearances on CNN, MSBC, CBC, BBC and a profile on 60 Minutes.

Acknowledgement of country

Sydney WorldPride will take place on the lands of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidjigal, Darug, Dharawal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Sydney Basin.

We pay our Respects to their Elders past and present. Always was Always will be Aboriginal Land.
