Kensington Street’s Rainbow installation is a 150m rainbow that runs the length of the street. The installation will be located in the heart of Chippendale’s dining precinct and creative hub, joining together a range of unique cultures, and showing support for Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ community.

The rainbow will be installed from February 1st in celebration of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and WorldPride with a street wide Rainbow Parade to be hosted on Saturday February 18th.

Acknowledgement of country

Sydney WorldPride will take place on the lands of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidjigal, Darug, Dharawal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Sydney Basin.
