Manly Rainbow Sculpture

Manly Beach
Northern Beaches Council

Skye Burton is a proud Wiradjuri woman and emerging contemporary Aboriginal artist and member of the LGBTQIA+ community of the Northern Beaches.

Skye will be creating a large Perspex rainbow arch anchored with two concrete clouds which will be positioned on the East Esplanade overlooking Manly Cove. The rainbow will be painted in traditional rainbow colours and will include contemporary Aboriginal art telling the story of Manly and the connections people have with the community. People will be able to stand under the arch to create an Instagram moment.
