Paige Burton is the Director of Civic and Cultural Engagement at the Foundation for Young Australians. She has experience working as a messaging and communications specialist across multiple non-profits, international NGOs, and government.  

Paige has addressed the United Nations multiple times, regarding the need for greater rights protection for young LGBTI people, and about the importance of inclusive education for people with disabilities. In 2017, as The Australian Youth Representative to the UN, she ran the largest ever face-to-face consultation of young Australians. 

In 2015, and 2016, she was named by Pro Bono Australia as the youngest member of the 25 Most Influential People in the Social Sector list. In 2020, Paige co-founded Find a Bed Australia, helping to find hundreds of fire-affected families, their pets and livestock somewhere safe to stay.  

Paige has previously served on the Boards of UN Youth Australia, Pain Australia, the Melbourne University Social Equity Institute, and People With Disability Australia.
