Lane Cove Plaza

Lane Cove Council is proud to celebrate Sydney WorldPride 2023 with a rainbow hub in the heart of Lane Cove. Located in Lane Cove Plaza, the rainbow hub is a celebration of diversity and support for the LGBTQIA+ community in Lane Cove and the North Sydney area.

The installation includes an 8 metre Progress Pride Flag walkway, rainbow bunting and colourful floor lights to illuminate the area at night. As well as being an excellent spot to snap a selfie, the rainbow hub will be the starting point for the Guided Walk for Silver Rainbow event. Nearby at Lane Cove Library, all are welcome to attend a Rainbow Families Storytime to celebrate Sydney WorldPride.

Acknowledgement of country

Sydney WorldPride will take place on the lands of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidjigal, Darug, Dharawal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Sydney Basin.

We pay our Respects to their Elders past and present. Always was Always will be Aboriginal Land.

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people come from many different clans and communities across Australia & in 2023 will come together as one, to celebrate with our global LGBTQIA+ community.
