Rainbow Road

Circular Quay + Chalmers Street light rail stops

Festival goers and commuters alike will be able to enjoy a 70m Rainbow Road spanning the Circular Quay Light Rail stop and a 30m Rainbow Road at Central Chalmers St Light Rail Stop. Adorned with the Pride Flag, the large-scale activations will show support for the LGBTIQA+ community and enable all visitors to Sydney to get involved with the celebration of Pride.

TorchMedia has partnered with Transdev Sydney Light Rail, ALTRAC Light Rail and Transport for NSW to bring Sydney World Pride celebrations to the heart of Sydney.

The Rainbow Roads will be installed from February 20th through to March 5th 2023.

Acknowledgement of country

Sydney WorldPride will take place on the lands of the Gadigal, Cammeraygal, Bidjigal, Darug, Dharawal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Sydney Basin.

We pay our Respects to their Elders past and present. Always was Always will be Aboriginal Land.
