Celebrate Sydney WorldPride with a night of queer romance, drag and the world’s favourite opera music.

Nowhere in the world does opera like Sydney, home to the world’s most famous opera house. But although it’s visited by millions each year, few ever get to experience the Sydney Opera House up late.

That’s about to change.

Join us as we throw open the doors to this revered cultural icon, for a late night celebration for the ages.

Let us take you on a wild journey through opera’s most recognisable music as you’ve never heard it performed before – with a few detours through the art form’s mysterious underworld.

Performed in the prestigious Joan Sutherland Theatre, which has hosted performances by opera’s legends (Luciano Pavarotti, Kiri Te Kawnawa and Sutherland herself), this is a unique opportunity to experience the wonders of Sydney’s favourite icon.

And with reimagined opera hits, a distinctively Australian flavour, and a few pop numbers along the way, this is no regular night at the opera.

Award-winning director Shaun Rennie corrals a group of fabulous singers from Opera Australia’s ranks, alongside a few special guests, who’ll be sure to get the party started for seasoned opera lovers and total newbies alike.

Dress up (or down), climb the Opera House’s iconic steps, and take your seats as we hit the high notes for Sydney WorldPride.
