Grace Poore  is Senior Advisor Special Projects Asia at Outright International.  She coordinates Outright’s Asia LGBTIQ Network on SOGIE and Gender Based Violence, comprising LGBTIQ activists and GBV expertise in Asia. She heads Outright’s Asia regional hub for the LGBTI Elders Advancing Project on impacts of age-based discrimination on LGBTI older adults and strategies to promote and protect LGBTI elder rights in the Philippines and Nepal. From 2007 to 2022, Grace was Outright’s Asia regional program coordinator. She previously worked for 9½ years in the U.S. movement to stop domestic violence.  She holds a Master’s degree from Syracuse University. She is from Malaysia and based in Maryland, US.
