affordability Tickets

We have a dedicated ticket allocation for the Affordability program and people who applied by 11 July should have received their application outcome email on 14 July. The next batch of applications will be processed at the end of July so we encourage you to apply ASAP as the allocation is limited.
Sydney WorldPride wants to ensure as many people as possible can attend our events to enjoy and engage with our festival. However, we recognise that some people may miss out on attending events due to financial constraints.
To address affordability challenges, Sydney WorldPride has created a program for people who are not able to afford a full-priced tickets, providing an opportunity to access tickets for $49 each*
Under this program, Sydney WorldPride has made available discounted tickets to the following once-in-a-lifetime events:
- Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert, Presented by American Express
- Rainbow Republic, Presented by Optus
- Sydney WorldPride Human Rights Conference
Who is the Affordability program for?
The program is to support those in our communities who are experiencing financial strain and cannot afford a full-priced ticket.
Applications to access the program will be open to holders of the following concessions:
- Companion Card, Carer Card (VIC) or equivalent
- Health Care Card
- Pension Card
- Veterans Affairs Card
Proof of concession will be required on purchase and when entering the venue.
If you do not hold a valid concession card but would like to be considered for the program, please let us know when you register via the link below.
Important: we ask that you only apply for registration in the program if you are experiencing financial strain, so that you do not take the opportunity away from someone who truly needs the support.

How do I access Affordability tickets?
Step One: Registration
Complete the form below and advise which concession card you hold, or whether you’re applying for access to the program without a concession card.
Step Two: Review by Sydney WorldPride
Your registration will be reviewed by the SWP Team to be sure you meet the criteria. If successful, you will receive email instructions on how to purchase your ticket to each of the eligible events.
Step Three: Buy your tickets!
Once approved, you will receive email instructions on how to purchase your ticket to each of the eligible events.
When purchasing tickets, you must use the same email address that you used to sign up. Sydney WorldPride has made available a generous allocation for these tickets, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Keep in mind
Once the allocation has been exhausted, no further Affordability tickets will be available. Registration will close at that time, to avoid disappointment. Get in early!
Our ticketing providers, Moshtix and Ticketmaster, work with LatitudePay and Afterpay to allow for deferred payments for ticket buyers. This may assist you further when managing your ticket purchases. The Affordability program covers only the price of the ticket itself. Other charges may apply.
