NIDA Rainbow

NIDA

NIDA’s Rainbow City installation is a costume display in the Nancy Fairfax Foyer assembled with textile projects from different play-productions, screen and film works and like theatre events arranged in a colour spectrum according to the Progress Pride Flag.

Authentically communicating the student body’s celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, this installation is comprised of theatrical garments and textile objects created by current and upcoming theatre-makers who also story-tell in queer spaces addressing key concerns of the community.

A photograph of the NIDA foyer at night with an artist impression of what the rainbow costume display might look like - costumes arrange by colour to form a rainbow in two opposing arcs to make an 's' shape.
