Taylor Square Mural

Kinselas

As part of a collaboration between Johnnie Walker and Taylor Square institution Kinselas, the iconic four story building will be adored with a striking painted mural designed by Double Rainbouu’s Mikey Nolan for Sydney WorldPride.

Nolan says, “The design is intended to represent the patchwork of diverse identities of our wonderful LGBTQIA+ community, and reflect that we are separate identities but we are also one, and we are stronger together.”

The design, which heroes bright patterns and colours from the LGBTQIA+ flag, will not only light up the Kinselas building, but will also feature across a bespoke capsule range of Double Rainbouu x Johnnie Walker clothing including a Hawaiian shirt, shorts and jeans. Stock will be available for purchase online and in store at Double Rainbouu, Fair Day and at Kinselas throughout the Sydney WorldPride season.

The mural will be open on 17 February 2023 for all to enjoy, any time of day, alongside a full programme of music, cabaret, burlesque and more featuring G Flip (DJ Set), PAVLOVABAR, Xaddy’s Door List x Papi Juice (NYC), POOF DOOF and more.
